I had spent many years being self-employed (from fashion to gingerbread!) before deciding to join the care community.
It was whilst working for Mencap that I realised how rewarding supporting others to enrich and fulfil their lives can be.
I enjoy the arts and going around local galleries. I also like creating objects from clay. I am passionate about cooking and baking (breadmaking is my favourite) and eating out. I thoroughly enjoy visits to the theatre and Cheltenham’s festivals. Whilst I love travelling, I also very much appreciate living in the beautiful Cotswolds.
I also hold a Care Certificate from my time working at Mencap.
